On this page you find an overview about diving in Bohol, our certified instructors cover any level of experience from beginner to advanced.

Our dive center is run by experienced German speaking PADI Instructors. They offer courses in German and English. They are happy to address your questions and you can email the dive centre directly at dive|@|flower-beach.com. We also have six experienced local boat staff to make your dive trips hassle-free and comfortable. Our dives are all ‘drift’ dives so the boat will pick you up, no need for long swims against the current.

– Bubblemaker (8-12 years)
Under the strict supervision of a qualified PADI instructor, children will learn some of the basic techniques for diving, practice some skills and then go for a shallow dive (max 2 metres) off our beach.
Time needed: 2 hours.

– Discover Scuba Diving
Aimed at complete beginners to scuba diving, this is a quick introduction to the underwater world. With a qualified PADI instructor, learn a little about the safety of diving and how all the equipment works, then practice a few simple skills in shallow water, before trying your first open water dive. Everything Included.
Time needed: 2 hours.

– PADI Scuba Diver
The first step to PADI certification. If you want to learn to scuba dive but don’t have the time for the full Open Water course you can take this shorter course and complete your pre-entry training in less than 2 days. After completing your training you can then dive up to 12 metres with a PADI Divemaster. Includes equipment rental.
Time needed: 1-2 days.

– PADI (Junior) Open Water Diver
We offer a range of adventure dives for anyone wanting to freshen up some skills, learn new tricks or advance their PADI learning curve. For the full advanced course you need to complete a Deep and Navigation dive with an instructor then any other three adventure dives (e.g. Digital Underwater Photography, Search and Recovery, Night, Peak Performance Buoyancy).
Time needed: 2-3 days.

– PADI (Junior) Advanced Open Water Diver
Under the strict supervision of a qualified PADI instructor, children will learn some of the basic techniques for diving, practice some skills and then go for a shallow dive (max 2 metres) off our beach.
Time needed: 2 hours.

– Speciality Courses
Abyss Divers offers the following specialities: Deep, Night, Nitrox, Dawn, Underwater Navigation, Search and Recovery, Digital Underwater Photography and Peak Performance Buoyancy, Project Aware.

– PADI Rescue Diver
Learn how to rescue and assist divers in trouble and practise real life rescue skills. We make this useful course not only interesting but fun as well as EFR (First Aid) certificate is mandatory.
Time needed: 3-4 days.

– PADI Divemaster and PADI Divemaster Internship
This is the first step to taking your diving hobby to a professional level. Your time with us will include all theory and practical parts of this PADI courses and if you take the internship option (recommended) we also include all the training you need to be able to work in a busy dive centre.
Time needed: 3 weeks minimum, 5 weeks for internship.

For all courses (except Bubblemaker and Discover Scuba Diving) PADI books and certs are extra.

Equipment is only included on Bubblemaker, Discover Scuba, Scuba Diver and Open Water courses.
