Outside Excursions

Mangrove/Cave Tour – 2 hours
Just twenty minutes from the resort is a bamboo pier through the mangroves where you can take a relaxing stroll. At the end of the pier, you will be met buy a local guide who will take you by private boat to the cave area. After a short hike you will enter the caves and be given a full tour. The guide will show you the prehistoric writing and tell you the spooky history of the caves, which were once used by local witch doctors.

Camiguin Island – all day
By request our big Banca also makes day tips to Camiguin. The boat leaves at 6am for the two-hour crossing and the divers can make two dives while non divers can enjoy the other water activities and a long breakfast. After lunch we arrange a Jeepney tour (the most popular means of public transportation in the Philippines) of this interesting volcanic island before departing Camiguin at 4pm to get our guests back by dinner.

Bohol Tour
A trip to Bohol is not complete without visiting the famous Chocolate Hills and seeing the super cute Tarsiers. Our trip (in English or German) takes one full day to cover all the touristic sights on the island. We start at the Chocolate Hills where you can climb to the top, ring a bell and make a wish. These incredible natural formation are over 1000 almost identical mounds and the view from the top is spectacular. Then we see who is brave enough to cross the hanging bridge across the upper part of the Loboc river before taking one of the floating restaurants for a sightseeing cruise. After a sumptuous lunch we then head over to the Tarsier Sanctuary to meet the smallest primates on earth.

The Bohol tour can be combined with a pick up or drop off from Tagbilarian or we can stop by the city if you need to do a visa extension.

We can also do a half-day tour of just the Chocolate Hills and Tarsiers for those on a tight schedule.
